The last month has been crazy! Norah graduated from her preschool class, I ran in the Ski to Sea race, we went to Amalia and Brian's fabulous cabin for some legendary home brewed beer, Tiff came for a visit, Luke finished school and went to football camp in Eastern Washington, I finished school, my Mom and Dave came to visit, Norah had a birthday party, I hiked another peak, Norah started Tee Ball (Luke's the coach) and I'm getting ready to leave for SE Asia! WHEW!
Norah and I took Grandpa and Grandma McAnelly to the Mariner Game last Friday. It's the only game they've lost in their last 7 outings - and boy, did they lose 1-16! It was ugly. We must be bad luck! I haven't been to a winning game in over 5 years.
My last summit was Navaho Peak. 7,237 feet. It was a long, dusty hike - about 14 miles round trip. My feet are killing me, but it was totally worth it. At the summit, we had views of Mt. Stuart, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Daniel, Little Anapurna and several other unidentified wonders. It was a beautiful day to be outside.
Thank goodness for some relaxing times. Katie came up for a Spa Day and we indulged in some before and after massage drinks at Mill Creek Town Center.
I've posted some photos on our Shutterfly account, you can access them at the bottom of this page.
